High In The Cloud: Pauls new children book
Madonna did it, so perhaps it’s no surprise Sir Paul McCartney is
turning his hand to children’s books. High in the Clouds , which will be
published later this year, tells the story of Wirral the Squirrel whose
woodland is destroyed by developers. ‘Sure to become an enduring
classic,’ gushes the publisher. An eager nation awaits.

McCartney wrote Sgt Pepper ‘with a little help from his roadie friend’
A ROAD manager for the Beatles who was shot dead by police in Los Angeles
left behind diaries in which he claimed to have co-written some of the
group’s songs, writes Maurice Chittenden.

Beatles is opening its doors to give fans a chance to look inside.Abbey
Road has begun inviting the public inside for the first time. The zebra
crossing outside the studios was featured on the cover of the Beatles’
