This past June marked the birth of the very 1st Annual Maritime Beatle

Event held at the Olympic Gardens in Halifax.  We were honoured to have

Julia Baird (John Lennon’s sister) as our special guest at the inaugural

Event along with a host of other international and regional acts.

The 2nd Annual Maritime Beatle Event will be held on Saturday, June 9th,

2007.  Slated to perform are:

  a.. Hal Bruce and Scott Ferguson as “Ticket 2 Ride” from Nova Scotia

  b.. Jim “Ringo” Martin from Chicago, Illinois

  c.. Jay Goeppner from Chicago, Illinois

  d.. The Repeatles from Sweden

  e.. Abbey Road from Halifax

  f.. “Summer of Love” 1967 - 2007 40th Anniversary Concert

Both Jim “Ringo” Martin and Jay Goeppner are the very best in their

respective tributes…Jim Martin performing his Ringo tribute along with

his All-Starr Band and Jay Goeppner’s tribute to John Lennon.  Both

artists are highly charged with energy and regarded as two of the best in

the world.  Also, back by popular demand are The Repeatles and Abbey

Road…both acts will have you singing and dancing in the aisles.

As a special feature, the Summer of Love Concert will spotlight the music

of The Who, The Kinks, The Stones, The Byrds, The Monkees, The Animals,

Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Simon & Garfunkel, and many more.
