A rare art exhibit featuring the works of a late Beatle will be in Tucson for a few days.

What organizers describe as a major exhibition of artwork by the late John Lennon is scheduled for March 16 to 18 at La Encantada shopping plaza.
The exhibit is said to feature more than 120 serigraphs, signed lithographs and song lyrics including the handwritten lyrics to “Imagine.”
Also displayed will be a complete portfolio of “Bag One” lithographs, a 15-print series. Each of these lithographs is individually hand-signed by Lennon and are also on exhibit.
Organizers reveal the complete set of “Bag One” is very difficult to find in its entirety. There is currently a complete set in a permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
A press release refers to John Lennon’s influence from generation to generation. It also said his artwork has a profound effect on anyone who has been touched by his music and philosophies on life.
Pacific Edge Gallery is producing this exhibition with Yoko Ono’s full cooperation.
The art display is open to the public. It will be open March 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on March 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the 2 nd level of La Encantada.
