John, Paul, George and Ringo may have broken up long ago, but their music lives on. On Saturday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m., BeatleTracks, a Billerica-based tribute band, will perform at the Temple Shalom Emeth function hall on Lexington Avenue to raise money for the temple. The band covers all of the Beatles big hits, as well as favorites from the solo careers of the Fab Four. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for children under 12.

16 juni: The 4th International Music Festival “Beatles-Forever!” in Minsk, Wit-Rusland
Dit festival werd voor de eerste keer gehouden in mei 2004 en toen bijgewoond door meer dan 3.000 mensen. Door de ruime aandacht in de pers, radio en televisie groeide het in drie jaar uit tot een indrukwekkend en massaal bezocht evenement met circa 8.000 bezoekers uit Minsk, overige delen van Wit-Rusland, Rusland, Letland en Litouwen.
Dit jaar vindt het festival plaats op 16 juni ter ere van de 65e verjaardag van Sir Paul McCartney. Naast onze band treden er ook op “Back from USSR” (Moskou), “Zuki” (Polen), “Suzor’e” (Wit-Rusland), “The Prellies” (Engeland) en “Lucy-in-the-sky” (Duitsland).
