Beatles Re-group!
APE Line - As reported earlier in the month, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have announced they have completed re-recording the entire Beatles catalog. They are now planning a 2008 Tour and are in the process of auditioning replacements for John Lennon and George Harrison.
“Well its really kind historic isn’t it?” said Paul, “I mean Mingo and I feel this need to reconnect with our roots.”
“That’s Ringo,” said Ringo.
“Oh is that you Ring? I didn’t recognize you with the haircut short,” replied Paul chortling. “Anyway today we have a few lads here to just play around and show us what they’ve got. Over there is Princess Fergie, she’s pretty hot on keyboards,” said Ringo.
“And don’t forget Georgie Bush, he’s thinking of resigning from his current job, it’s not going so well, but he’s picked up the lead guitar pretty good really,” said Paul. “And we thought we’d add a second drummer this time around and so were giving Mike Tyson a good listen today.
“Yes, and you know some blokes have like questioned our judgement in staging this comeback, but its like I was telling the Beaver here, who’s trying out on bass and second guitar, this isn’t about the fame or the money, its about the music. Some have said I’m trying to obliterate any reference to the other Beatles in the history books, but that just isn’t so, we’ve got a lot to give still, Gringo and I and were going by god give it our all!”
“That’s Ringo.” said Ringo.
Year on year since 1973, The Beatles have sold more copies of their records worldwide than copies of the New Testament. It seems that they really are bigger than Jesus.
Paul McCartney is 64.
The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
