Paul McCartney will play the iTunes Festival in London next month, it has been announced.

The former Beatle is amongst the star-studded bill for the inaugural event, which features over 50 bands performing at the ICA throughout July.

Sir Macca will headline a show on July 5, as he continues to promote his acclaimed new album “Memory Almost Full”.

Other acts set to appear at the festival, which is free to enter to competition-winners only, are Kasabian, Amy Winehouse, Editors, Mika and Just Jack.

Athlete, Crowded House, Jack Penate, Mutya Buena, Paolo Nutini, Stereophonics, The View and Travis are also on the bill.
