HOLLYWOOD director Quentin Tarantino has revealed his secret desire to cast Beatle legend Ringo Starr in one of his movies.
The Pulp Fiction director declared himself a fan of Elvis over the Fab Four, but said Ringo was his favourite moptop because of his acting ability.
The director also revealed his first stage acting role, aged 16, was to play a Brit, and he spent hours honing Ringo’s Scouse twang.
Tarantino, 44, said: “Now I’m an Elvis over the Beatles man any day of the week, but there’s always been something special about Ringo all right.
“I always thought he had the best stage presence out of the band.”
