It would have been John Lennon’s 67th birthday yesterday, and Yoko Ono has bought him a celestial column of light dedicated to him in Iceland – it’s nice, but we hear John Lennon would have actually preferred a Nintendo Wii.

LONDEN – Yoko Ono, de weduwe van John Lennon, heeft in IJsland een monument voor de overleden Beatle onthuld. De Imagine Peace Tower, een lichttoren, zal jaarlijks tussen 9 oktober (zijn geboortedag) en 8 december (zijn sterfdag), branden. De muzikant zou dinsdag 67 jaar zijn geworden.
