GEORGE HARRISON kept the iconic outfits from his days in the BEATLES – and often liked to dress up in them for fun. The guitarist – who died in 2001 – had a wardrobe full of stage costumes from the Fab Four’s heyday, which he revealed to pal Dave Edmunds in the late 1980s. Stephanie Connell from Bonhams auctioneers holds an original artwork created by the Beatles for the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, in London, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008. The artwork is estimated at 250,000- 375,000 pounds (US$ 493,000- 740,000, euro 335,000- 503,000) when it is auctioned in the Entertainment Memorabilia sale on Jan. 15 2008.

The DVD will be loaded with special features including eight deleted and extended musical sequences.From the imagination of renowned director Julie Taymor (Broadway musical sensation The Lion King), Across the Universe is a colorful, psychedelic love story starring Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess, with appearances by Bono, Joe Cocker and Eddie Izzard.
