Found online at www.meetup.com, meetup groups bring together people with similar interests or hobbies. Meetup groups in Clarksville include Travel, New in Town, Coffee and More, Scrapbooking and Recreation.

Joe Kraeske, who leads the 23-member Clarksville Travel Meetup group, is also a member, along with several other locals, of the Nashville Beatles Fans Meetup Group. “Meet other local Beatles fans to discuss John, Paul, George and Ringo, their music, their films, and we also discuss books about them,” says the group’s Web site, http://beatles.meetup.com/119/.
