Ono’s Imagine Peace project joins Toronto’s Nuit Blanche

Yoko Ono’s Imagine Peace project is coming to Toronto this fall as part of Nuit Blanche, the annual all-night festival of contemporary art.

It was one of more than 30 curated art projects announced Wednesday for this year’s event, to run from sunset Saturday, Oct. 4, to sunrise Sunday, Oct. 5.

City celebrates first Beatles Day

Liverpool is celebrating its most famous sons with its first Beatles Day.

Ferry staff are being encouraged to support Beatles Day

Tribute bands are performing in the city, beginning with early performances for workers and culminating in a concert at Liverpool Arena.

IN MY LIFE was today named Liverpool’s favourite Beatles’ number.

John Lennon’s poignant song of love and loss appeared on the 1965 album Rubber Soul. It romped away with the title in the vote organised by the ECHO and Beatles Day promoters CMP.

This piece of musical history is part of the rock memorabilia at auction at Christie’s in London’s South Kensington.

Boost for Fakenham food factory
