Sir Paul McCartney, 66, and his new girlfriend, 47-year-old American heiress Nancy Shevell also were spotted — at least by the British tabloids — stopping in Santa Fe over the weekend on their under-the-radar tour of Old Route 66, according to the online London Daily Mail.

Yoko Ono’s post-Beatles-era career continues to flourish, and a piece of her art is headed to Pasadena this summer. Visitors will be invited to write their wishes on paper and hang them on the tree branches. The wishes from Pasadena will later be placed with others from all over the world and buried at the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland.
