Somewhere between 1962 & early 1963, a young Liverpudlian girl went to see the current hot local band many times at the Cavern & around the Liverpool area. During that time she collected newspaper clippings & ALL FOUR of the band’s autographs in 1963, each on a separate autograph card!)

But according to the New York Daily News it won’t be the last time the stadium will be open with an official closing ceremony set for November 9.

Paul McCartney concert in Israel touches a nerve

Paul McCartney signs autographs in Tel Aviv, a day before his first scheduled show in Israel. He is expected to perform before some 50,000 people.
Pro-Palestinian groups urge him to boycott Israel, which banned the Beatles in 1965. He will perform there tonight for the first time.

Yoko Ono artwork headed to Pasadena this summer (till Nov. 9th)

Yoko Ono’s post-Beatles-era career continues to flourish, and a piece of her art is headed to Pasadena this summer. Visitors will be invited to write their wishes on paper and hang them on the tree branches. The wishes from Pasadena will later be placed with others from all over the world and buried at the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland.
