GATESHEAD.- Yoko Ono is one of the pioneers of conceptual art and has an international exhibition career spanning nearly 50 years. From Sunday 14 December, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art will present YOKO ONO Between the Sky and My Head, comprising work by Yoko Ono from the 1950s to the present day.

And now Aretha Franklin has another honour to add to her collection – she’s been named the the Greatest Singer of All Time in a poll by Rolling Stone magazine.

The 66-year-old diva is the only female in the top 10 list, of which seven are no longer living.

London – Ringo Starr reportedly told a fan to “Fuck off”.

The former Beatles drummer was taken by surprise when a devotee approached him after he had collected a Diamond award on behalf of the band at the World Music Awards in Monaco on Sunday and began shouting at the shocked female admirer.
