To those who have already helped with promoting our unique Events – THANK YOU. To those who as yet perhaps do not know about them welcome on board.
August 1st – the anniversary of the Concerts For Bangladesh We unveil a spectacular collection of George Harrison memorabilia which is Free Entry at St. George’s Hall, Liverpool.
On the same day we host two Concerts in honour of George at the beautiful Concert Room also at St. George’s Hall – we have musicians flying in from all over the world and as George so famously said “and no one is getting paid for anything” – except this time we are not doing it for the refugees but for George.
Unfortunately, in this Material World nothing is free so we have to pay for the room, technicians, hotel rooms, programmes, display cases etc etc and hopefully ticket sales will go some way towards this. Any surplus is for George’s own Charity “The Material World Charitable Foundation”. No one else is going to make a penny for this as we wish to transcend commercialism on this one occasion at least. There is no funding so we need your help if you can give it. If any of you have media contacts you can call on please will you do so and publicise these unprecedented Events which are being done with a lorra lorra love and not much else!
We know the people in Liverpool will support the Concerts – but they have to know about them and if we can get any of you to get the word out if would help us greatly.
