It’s here, finally! Hal Bruce’s LIVE two party CD’s, with tons of classic Rock and Roll and Pop songs from the 1960s and beyond.
Hal has completed not one, but two full-length CD’s with a total of nearly 30 songs (all gold), guaranteed to take you back in time when everything was "far out, groovy, beaded, braided, dropped in, dropped out, popped in, popped out, bell bottomed, paisleyed…well, you get the picture.
This set of two albums was recorded in front of a live studio audience.
Armed with just one guitar and a set of drums, Hal Bruce and Scott Ferguson played through a list of just some of their favorites for the audience who, in return, sang along with just about every song. Hal also supplied harp and kazoo, yes kazoo, while Scott supplied percussion when he wasn’t playing drums. The little surprise on the album is the unique solo they added in Solitary Man (Neil Diamond)…nope, not trumpets, instead they did the face trumpet thingy, so nothing was sampled on the album…nothing at all…just all live from the floor. Also, the show stopper song House Of The Rising Sun was finally completed just in time for the release of the project.
Showtime is at 5:00 PM sharp…bring your singing voices. You’ll be wanting to use them, a lot!!!
This new collection of songs is just a sampling of what Hal performs in his regular party shows…his list of songs is well into the hundreds, at least. He’s picked a wide assortment of styles from the 60s and beyand to include songs by artists like…
