The Liverpool church where John Lennon and Paul McCartney first met on in their historic meeting on July 6, 1957 is being modeled in miniature by a British artist and offered for sale.

John Moreton, who lives in Neston on the Wirral in the UK, began making detailed models of local landmarks 25 years ago. His latest work is a set of two models of both Saint Peter’s Church in Liverpool, which was the site of the historic meeting between John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and the hall itself where the meeting actually took place during a Woolton fete.
Moreton sells the models through his website Classic Landmarks. A portion of the proceeds of each sale goes to the church, which is still in use today.
The price of the set is is £60 ($94.60) and does not include delivery charges, which Moreton told Beatles Examiner varies depending on the country. Orders can be made through PayPal.
