The British Beatles Fan Club has grown out of the London Beatles Fan Club which has been producing its quarterly Fan Club magazine since Autumn 2000 (which in turn grew out the "Off the Beatle Track".)
It is a fans club run by fans for fans and they welcome contributions from fans all over the world, including articles, stories and letters. |

Welcome to my homepage which deals especially with publications about the Beatles.
For several years I have been collecting LPs and books about the Fab Four. The collection started about 40 years ago in the GDR (former east Germany). I had just turned twelve when I traded not my first Beatles LP but a Beatles book. Of course I still own that book " The true story of The Beatles ", it is falling apart by now, but I love it and it has gone through a lot.
The Beatles books are still my passion so their number has continued to grow and there is less and less room for me at home.
The aim of this Web-Site is to build up an extensive Beatles bibliography with the help of Beatles fans all over the world. By now I have listed 1,200 registrations - according to my investigations this is the biggest bibliography in the net.
I ask you for your support by sending me titles and cover pictures of Beatles books which are not listed yet (if possible with author, publisher, year of publication and ISBN number). I am grateful for comments and criticism. If you have read one of the books I would be glad to publish your comments in the net.
The basis for registrations and publications is the ISBN number because lots of books are published with an enlarged size and new covers. All but a few new publications also have new ISBN numbers.
I accept offers for books still missing in my collection but I will also offer books in the SHOP I have more than one copy of.

On Saturday, July 6 1957 John Lennon and his band, the
Quarrymen Skiffle Group, played at St. Peter's Church,
Rose Queen Garden Fete in Woolton in the suburbs of Liverpool.
Later that day he met Paul McCartney and the seeds of
the greatest partnership in popular music were sown.

| Van 25 t/m 29 September 2003 houdt poster galerie "De Lach" een expositie over het leven van Yosha Leeger Finch! Een van Nederland grootste mode ontwerpster uit de jaren zestig. Zo heeft zij voor namen als The Beatles, Stones, Cream, Led zeppelin en Earth, wind and fire diverse kostuums ontworpen. Nu dat ze zelf zestig zou worden hebben haar kinderen besloten om haar te herdenken met een expositie! Naast het ontwerpen van kleding was yosha ook bijzonder getalenteerd in het maken van schilderingen op alles wat los en vast zat. Ook van deze kunst stukken zijn er verschillende te bezichtigen! (o.a. foto's van Beatles Apple Boutique in Londen) Het initiatief is ontstaan doordat alles wat met de sixties te maken heeft in eens weer super hip is! Waardoor haar kinderen het gevoel kregen dat zij daar niet aan mag ontbreken. De expositie is te bezichtigen in poster galerie "De Lach" Eerste Bloemdwarsstraat 14 Amsterdam van 26 t/m 29 September tussen 12:00 en 18:00 uur! Nostalgia Gallery has been set up to promote a range of nostalgic black and white images.
Included in the range of photos is limited one off photos of the Beatles from the 1964 Australian tour. Each photo has been taken from rare archival 16 mm film of the 64 tour. Placed in each frame with the photograph is the original film cell from which the image was taken. Each photo is a genuine one off as they only printed one image off each film cell. They have also reproduced the Beatles 1964 tour programme after getting permission from one of the promoters. Page for page the programme is an exact replica of the 1964 original.
