The Natural Gas album has been given the CD treatment by premier re-issue label Renaissance Records in conjunction with ItsAboutMusic.com, who has an impressive back catalog of releases. Originally released in 1975 on the Private Stock label, the eponymous debut by Natural Gas featured Joey Molland of Badfinger, Jerry Shirley of Humble Pie and Mark Clarke of Uriah Heep and Colosseum.

The Beatles’ Apple Corps names Jeff Jones CEO

Jones had served as executive vice president, Legacy Recordings/Sony BMG Worldwide.Apple Corps said Aspinall, who had worked with the Beatles since their formation in Liverpool more than 40 years ago, was leaving the company.

The Beatles suing company for trashing photo negatives

They are suing for over $1 million after a cleaning lady threw away the photos that were in a bin labeled “Not Rubbish – Do Not Remove.”
