Oliva Harrison Salutes George on Anniversary of His Passing Chris Carter, host of the nationally syndicated Breakfast with the Beatles, received the following note from Olivia Harrison marking the anniversary of George Harrison’s death. Thank you Chris and each one of you for remembering George today. The love we feel for him grows and grows. I think of George and a million wonderful things flood my mind and heart. And a million things in the world remind me of him, from a leaf blowing across the sky to hum of a guitar string. God bless us all. Send your warm loving thoughts to all the people in the spiritual sky and your kind actions to the people here in the material world, especially those in need.
Love from Olivia and Dhani
THE TRAVELING WILBURYS the new, signed limited edition book from Genesis Publications is now available to pre-order. Chronicling the adventures of Nelson, Otis, Lucky, Lefty and Charlie, The Wilburys tell their tale in their own words – with occasional help from drummer Jim Keltner.
Jeff Lynne (from his Foreword): George said to me, ‘We should have a group, me and you.’ I said, ‘Great, who would we have in it?’ He said, ‘Well, I’ll have Bob Dylan.’ I said, ‘Can we have Roy Orbison?’ We thought Tom Petty would be a great member of the group too; luckily so did Tom.
Genesis are the creators of classic books such as I ME MINE and CONCERT FOR GEORGE and THE TRAVELING WILBURYS has been many years in the making. The result is an inside look at how five great singers, songwriters and musicians joined together in a series of kitchens and living rooms to write two albums of unforgettable songs.

A song written by George Harrison in the 60s has been completed more than 40 years later by a British songwriter.
Harrison wrote 10 lines of ‘Silence (Is It’s Own Reply) and gave it to Hunter Davis to use in a Beatles biography but the paper it was written in was misplaced and the lyrics not used.
Years later, they were found in the Abbey Road studios. The lyrics were about Harrison’s relationship with John Lennon but were initially thought to have been about one of George’s loves.
On one side of the page were the lyrics "I’m happy to say that it’s only a dream/When I come across people like you/It’s only a dream and you make it obscene/With the things that you think and you do/You’re so unaware of the pain that I bear/And jealous for what you can’t do."
On the other side, directions to Beatles manager Brian Epstein’s house in Epstein’s handwriting, dating the song at least 43 years old.
The lyrics are finally be used in an updated version of Davis’ Beatles biography.
