Zak Starkey will be playing the drum kit on Liam Gallagher’s debut solo album, it has been revealed.
According to the ex-Oasis frontman, he is working with several former bandmates on the project, which he will start work on next year.

Who’s roaring guitars?

The sound of shrieking engines was replaced by roaring guitars at the Albert Park grand prix last night, when veteran rockers The Who took over the entertainment.

The band – formed in ex-pat territory Shepherd’s Bush, London – delighted old fans with some rarer numbers and played a strong set of classic hits too.

Roger Daltrey, not his fellow founding member Pete Townshend, performed the band’s trademark windmill guitar move first during their second song, The Seeker.

Amy calls her wax figure “crap”

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is not at all impressed with her wax work at Madame Tussauds’ in London, calling the work “crap”.

According to the ‘Rehab’ singer, being immortalised in wax is done only for the dead. “I thought you needed to be dead, almost, before they made a wax of you,” Daily Express quoted her as telling New! Magazine.
